John G. Rhyne graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA in 1986 with a Bachelor’s degree in History. He then graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1990 and has been practicing law since then. For a period of three years, Mr. Rhyne was an associate with the firm of Carter & Carter, P.A.in Wilmington, NC. From 1995 through 1998, Mr. Rhyne served as Staff Attorney to the Bankruptcy Administrator for the Eastern District of North Carolina. His primary role in that capacity was oversight of Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases filed in the Eastern District of North Carolina. In 1998, Mr. Rhyne returned to private practice. His areas of practice are focused on bankruptcy law and debtor/creditor issues. Mr. Rhyne represents debtors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 12, and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. In an effort to help clients avoid bankruptcy, Mr. Rhyne also works with clients in non-judicial work-outs. Mr. Rhyne also represents creditors in bankruptcy and state court matters. Approximately ninety percent of Mr. Rhyne’s practice is devoted to bankruptcy law and representation of debtors and creditors.

Maureen R. Radford, attended the Braxton Business School in Richmond, Virginia and graduated in 1976 with a legal secretarial degree. She worked in the legal field from 1976 - 1978 in Richmond and continued working in the legal field in Wilson, North Carolina from 1979 - 1984. She has worked with the law firm of Hinson & Rhyne, P.A., formerly Walter L. Hinson, P.A., since January 1997 assisting with Trustee, debtor andcreditor work. Ms. Radford became a Paralegal in December of 2006 and has participated in regular continuing education courses through the Southeastern Bankruptcy Institute, The North Carolina Bar Association and the Eastern Bankruptcy Institute.

Elizabeth A. Rhyne attended Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, PA, and graduated with a degree in Spanish and a minor in accounting. She joined the Law Office of John G. Rhyne in 2015 as the Office Manager. Prior to then she worked as a financial administrator at a local church. She assists Mr. Rhyne with client relations, bankruptcy matters and client financial matters.
